Show your support for suicide prevention at the annual #YOUmatter Suicide Awareness & Prevention Walk.
You may register the morning of the event (t-shirt sizes will be limited), but pre-registration is appreciated.

Registration includes a t-shirt which may be picked up at Havasu Community Health Foundation in the Acoma Executive Plaza, 94 Acoma Blvd. S. Suite 101, Lake Havasu City, after Sep 9 or on the day of the walk at the registration table.
Rally for the walk is at 7:30 am in Rotary Park, Ramada C. The walk begins at 8 am and is 3.1 miles long. There will be several water stations along the route. Name tags will be available if you are walking for someone who has committed suicide.
The purpose of the Havasu Suicide Awareness & Prevention Walk is to raise awareness regarding suicide and also to address prevention by training people to know how to talk with individuals who are suicidal and to direct them to the appropriate community resources.

22 veterans take their lives every day. The elderly, 65 and older, have the highest risk of suicide.
