Built to be looked at closely

Speed gets the attention. Construction keeps it.

When Speedboat Magazine evaluated a Conquest Top Cat II in 2026, its inspection went well past the radar gun: gelcoat and mold work, wiring, steering and throttle installation, upholstery, storage and engine installation. Come look underneath the finished surfaces of the Top Cat II in our showroom and see how a Havasu-built Conquest comes together.

Questions

Conquest, answered.

Where are Conquest Boats built?

In Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Group 1 Marine builds every Conquest to order there.

Who owns Conquest Boats?

Wayne owns Conquest Boats by Group 1 Marine. The Boat Brokers is the exclusive, only authorized Conquest Boats dealer.

What is the difference between the Top Cat I and Top Cat II?

Both are 28β€² open-bow performance deck boats. The Top Cat II has a walk-thru transom with a direct route to the swim step. The Top Cat I lays its aft deck out around your power, with a big sunpad over the engine hatch on sterndrive builds.

What power can I choose?

All Mercury Racing. Sterndrive: 520 ($251,320), 565 ($267,800) or 600SCi ($283,250). Twin outboards: 300s ($357,000), 400s ($372,000) or 500s ($437,000). Those are base MSRP for a Top Cat I or II from Group 1 Marine’s current factory price sheet, before options, tax and fees. The factory confirms final pricing for your build.

How fast is a Conquest?

In March 2026, Speedboat Magazine recorded 102 mph at 6,600 rpm on a 28β€² Top Cat II with twin Mercury Racing 400R outboards, and that tested boat is at The Boat Brokers now. That result belongs to that boat and setup. Speed on any other build depends on power, equipment, loading and conditions, and no speed is promised for a factory order.

Can I choose my own colors and options?

Yes. Gelcoat colors, graphics and interior, plus factory options such as Mercury VesselView and Simrad packages, SeaDek flooring, underwater lights, billet seat bases and an extended swim platform, depending on model and power. The builder shows what fits your setup, and the factory confirms every choice.

Is a trailer included?

Trailer arrangements are confirmed in your written build review. The factory sheet prices trailer upgrades such as electric-over-hydraulic brakes, an electric jack and a swing-away tongue.

How long does a build take?

About 6 months is the current guidance. The factory sets the schedule, so the date is an estimate, not a guarantee.

What deposit is required?

A new Conquest needs a minimum 50% down, non-refundable, to start the build, under a written order agreement you review first. Sending a build from this page does not place an order or take a deposit. Financing is available on approved credit.

Can I trade in or consign my current boat?

Yes. Trade it in toward your Conquest, or consign it with us. There are no fees: we agree on a fair market value together, and you get a check within 10 business days after it sells. We’ve been doing this for 40 years.

The next great lake day starts with your Conquest.

Pick a layout. Bring your ideas. We’ll turn them into a factory-reviewed build. The exclusive, only authorized Conquest Boats dealer, with trades, financing, service and parts under one roof.
