RV Buying and Selling

How do I inspect a used RV before buying?

A used RV inspection should cover: roof (look for soft spots, cracks around AC units and vents — water intrusion is the top issue), all exterior seals and caulking, slide-out mechanisms and seals, all appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave, water heater, AC, furnace), water system (run all taps, check under sinks for moisture), electrical (shore power and generator), frame and suspension, and tire age (tires over 6-7 years old need replacement regardless of tread). Hire an RV inspector for higher-value units.
