Wakeboard and Wake Surf Boats

Do wake boats create a problem with other boaters on Lake Havasu?

Wake boats operating with heavy ballast generate significantly larger wakes than standard boats, which can be hazardous near shorelines, docks, and in restricted speed zones. Arizona law requires wake boats to stay at least 200 feet from shore and other vessels when surfing. Courtesy on Lake Havasu means staying in open water, not surfing the channel near the London Bridge during peak congestion, and being aware of kayakers and paddleboarders.
