RV consignment means you leave your motorhome, travel trailer, fifth wheel or toy hauler with a dealer who lists it, markets it, shows it and handles the sale on your behalf. You keep ownership until it sells; the dealer does the work and finds the buyer.
How RV consignment works at The Boat Brokers
- No fees to consign. No listing fees and no commission taken out of your check.
- We agree on the value together. A broker looks the RV over and we settle on a fair market value based on season, condition and demand, before anything is signed.
- You get a check within 10 business days after it sells. Once it sells and delivers to the new buyer, you receive a check for the agreed amount.
- Written agreement. The agreement runs 90 days, then month to month if it hasn’t sold. A broker goes over it with you before you sign.
While it’s listed, your RV sits on our lot in Lake Havasu City, is marketed on our own inventory site, RV Trader and Boat Trader, and is shown by our sales team to the buyers who come through Havasu every week. We handle the paperwork, coordinate financing for the buyer, and process the title transfer through the Arizona MVD. You never deal with the showings or the tire-kickers. Family-owned here since 1986.
What to bring
- The title (Arizona RV titles come from the MVD) and photo ID for every owner on it
- A current loan payoff statement if you still owe; a lien doesn’t stop you from consigning
- Keys, remotes, manuals and anything that goes with it
